Corey Callaghan
Corey Callaghan is a PhD student with the Australian Museum where he worked with Dr. Richard Major to better understand how avian species and communities respond to urbanization processes. His interests lie in understanding biodiversity patterns and processes at multiple scales, and how citizen science data can be used to further this understanding. He is a passionate birder which has led to an interest in understanding how vagrant birds contribute to the economy. He is also the chief data scientist for the FrogID project, working closely with Dr. Jodi Rowley to understand how to inform ecology and conservation using broad-scale citizen science data of frogs.
