Our Foundation Food for Thought gala dinner was a huge success, raising nearly $70,000 to support our research into wildlife genetics.

Guests enjoyed a fantastic evening surrounded by some fascinating Museum specimens in the new Wildlife Photography of the Year exhibition.

An enormous thank you to Dr Rebecca Johnson for her thought-provoking speech on how scientists are now using genetic technologies to tackle forensic, conservation and biodiversity questions, and to Tommy Dean for his hilarious standup comedy act. A special thanks also to Wild Animal Encounters for their adorable live animal displays and to our wonderful MC, Kim McKay and Auctioneer, Tim Goodman.

The night wouldn’t have been possible without the support of all our guests, both individuals and corporate partners and everyone else who contributed to making the night so special!
