Spent the week in beautiful (but cold!) Finland at the Open and Learning Museum Conference. The conference was a gathering of some of the partners in the Learning Museum Network Project (or LEM for short), funded by the European Union. LEM "... is a network project funded by the Lifelong Learning Programme Grundtvig (2010-2013) which aims to establish a permanent network and webspace for museums and adult educators to participate in a learning society and in a knowledge based Europe."

I gave the keynote address - Learning in the 21st Century Museum, as well as attending some of the roundtables on the first day.

Other references can be found in my paper.

Thanks for inviting me - was very inspiring!
