Introduction
Bennett's Butterflyfish can be recognised by its distinctive colouration. It is found throughout much of the Indo-West Pacific.
Identification
Bennett's Butterflyfish can be recognised by its distinctive colouration. It is yellow with light blue bands curving across the lower sides of the body. A blue-edged black bar passes through the eye.
Distribution
Bennett's Butterflyfish is found throughout much of the Indo-West Pacific.
In Australia it is recorded from the offshore reefs of north-western Western Australia and from the entire length of the Great Barrier Reef.

Feeding and diet
The species eats coral polyps.
