Introduction

One of two described species in Anestia, this species is restricted to drier inland regions.

Identification

Males have strongly bipectinate antennae. This species can be separated from A. semiochrea by the more extensive white markings in the forewing. and the paler yellow hindwings. Females are presumably wingless, as in S. semiochrea
