Profile
Teaching high school Science was a fun career choice, but after a few years of teaching, I decided I wanted to reach out further. I wanted to share my passion for science with everyone and anyone who would listen. Learning doesn’t just happen in a classroom – it happens everywhere ... especially in Museums!
I decided to combine my love of science, education and museums. I started working at the Canada Science and Technology Museum as an Education Officer. I developed and implemented all kinds of fun and exciting educational programs and events for children aged 4 to 100!
Once I arrived in Australia, I continued to pursue my new career path at the Powerhouse Museum, developing teaching resources on technology and innovation.
Just recently, I have joined the Learning Services team at the Australian Museum as an Education Project Officer for the Museum 2 You project. I am thoroughly enthusiastic to have the opportunity to work on such an exciting project that will give regional NSW access to the Australian Museum’s incredible resources and expertise.
