Seven historically significant sites within walking distance, in the heart of Sydney, have launched a new program, 'A History Trail' for Stage 1-6 students.
On the 23rd January 2011, at 2.30pm, the Museum will host an Australia Day Debate. You can listen to the speakers, Sam Watson and Nigel Parbury, debate whether the 26th January is the most appropriate date to celebrate our national identity. You will also have the opportunity to ask them your own questions.
The Koori Art Expressions exhibition was launched by dignitaries at the Australian Museum on the 1st December 2010. The exhibition will be open until 31st January 2011.
As part of the 2010 International Year of Biodiversity 180 students from 11 high schools gave oral presentations about their biodiversity learning projects in the theatrette at the Australian Museum.
