A Reef Stonefish in shallow water at Fiji.
The species is obviously not a strong swimmer. The rear half of the body and caudal fin are supplying most of the propulsion but it is interesting to note the degree to which the pectoral and pelvic fins are used to keep the fish off the bottom.
