  • I quite often come across land leeches in the rainforests around the Northern Rivers NSW. Can you tell me more about their feeding habits - i.e what do they eat when we are not there? How do they always manage to latch on in areas you can't see, in shoes, behind ankles, arms etc? Do they do the same with other hosts? How long can they go without feeding? How long do they live?
