Teaching primary children is one of the greatest jobs in the world. Children have the most amazing capacity to learn and love. They are full of amazement at the world. They learn rapidly and without the fear or cynicism of adults. We should all be so blessed to do a job in which you, as the teacher, are respected, loved and listened to with such avidity. Over the last 20 years I have taught all classes from kindergarten to year 6 in over 7 different schools. Along the way I have been taught many new lessons by both teachers and students. I have been IT coordinator, Special Needs Teacher and Gifted Teacher. Recently, I spent two years developing and coordinating training programs for Business consultants- who were really just big kids!! This was really interesting and added another dimension to my Teaching. I love being involved in new Projects. I have a keen interest in the new digital learners and how they will cope as they transition through our rather slower paced educational system.

- Thank you to all the staff for an informative workshop. I will certainly use the information to inform my teaching in the coming year. It was particularly impressive to be able to show the link directly to "my favourites" at the Museum.
- This is a terrific idea to simplify the content so that it is at a more appropriate developmental level for primary aged children. Would love to sea more of this across the whole site.
- There are some simple, but effective drawings included that children could use to enhance their understanding of the makeup of a spider.
