  • We live in Rochedale brisbane near bush. Since the last big rain we have been unindated with these insects which appear to be dropping off huge gum trees. Every night a new lot arrive, have a hard brown shell on their back which they are permanently carrying. They emerge from this and look like a maggot with legs. Dislike water and are around the doorways by the dozens and are still moving during the day everywhere, even in the pool drowning. Aren't hatching into anything. Ucky Ucky Ucky critters.
