• I have been trying to find out what these were. We live in South Carolina, USA, and have these in our garden and I have never seen anything like it. I am 34 years old. Up until a couple of years ago I had never seen these, and I have seen a lot of things! When we were growing up we caught snakes, salamaders, lizards, toads, worms, and anything that wasn't poisonous. We never saw anything like this. Very interesting...at least to me.
