• I live in Jacksonville, Alabama and I witnessed one of these creatures today. It was latched onto my leg like a leech...Sorry to say, it is in many pieces now...Cause I didn't know what it was and have never seen one of these before...Since I now know what it is, I wonder how it to excist in the United States? Though it likes the dark of night, it was out in the day light...
