• Hi Dave,
  I found this beetle in Newcastle several months ago during summer. Its abdomen is approx 30mm long, and what really struck me was the distinctive red and blue stripes underneath its elytra. A search in several books (and google) yielded no results, and i was wondering if you could help out?
