Comments

  • This spring I observed one adult chasing another and grabbing it with its jaws. The victim was doing its best to escape. I was unsure if it was a territory battle or a mating prelude.
  • I had this spider on my window last night, and just after I took this image, the spider leaped to catch the moth that was fluttering about. Poor spider, the moth escaped and the spider fell to the ground. It was all over in an instant!
