Edward Pierson Ramsay, LL.D.
Curator, 22nd September, 1874 to 31st December, 1894. Dr. E. P. Ramsay was the third son of David Ramsay, M.D., the owner of the Dobroyd Estate, Dobroyd Point, Long Cove. He was born at Dobroyd House on 3rd December 1842, and was, therefore, in his 75th year at the time of his death. His education took place at St. Mark's Collegiate School, first at Darling Point and later at Macquarie Fields, presided over by the Rev. G.F. Macarthur, who later became Head Master of The King's School, Parramatta. …
