My significant cultural object is a toy Koala covered in light brown rabbit fur and brown leather. He has a gold key sticking out of its chest. When you wind it up it makes the toy play music.
This was given to my mum in 1963 when she was a baby.
The object is really special because it has passed down through one generation to me and is very Australian and adorable.
