Image: Tiara - 1950s
My significant cultural object is a tiara from the late 1950s. It is made from metal with many different transparent crystals. At the top the crystals are shaped in a flower. It was used by both my grandmother and my mother at their debutante balls. Now the crystals have faded and really do need a clean.
This tiara is so special to my family because it was my grandmother's, then my mother's and they both wore it.
