Image: The Pursued One - Rochelle James
Taken on 19 September 2009, this interesting little fella was cruising up a branch of a line of trees I have in my backyard. What I found interesting was the ants’ behaviour around it. I watched for some time as the ants were pursuing it as it collected fluid from a tube coming out of the Monophlebulus's back. I was very happy to get the shot I did, the angle making it look so much bigger and the ants showing the reality.
