The Gathering - Meredith Foley, Open Category

Butterflies are elusive, generally taking flight the millisecond before focus. This picture of the Common Crow Butterfly, Euploea core corinna, was taken in my garden in the soft light on the still morning. The fellow 'Crows' nearby further distracted my subject, allowing me to capture the subtle shading on its wings.
