George D.F. (Buz) Wilson maintains an active program of training young systematists. Topics include the systematics of Isopod crustaceans (all suborders - current students & postdocs are working on Asellota, Oniscidea and Sphaeromatidae), crustacean phylogeny and evolution (especially speciation), deep-sea biodiversity research and ecology of marine algal substrates.
