Image: Skeleton of a modern human
Humans are unusual primates. We walk upright on two legs with the aid of a specialised pelvis, hip and leg muscles and an s-shaped instead of c-shaped spine. Compared to other primates such as chimpanzees and gorillas, we have a short, flat face with a protruding nose and very small canine teeth.
