A Sea Mullet caught at Hastings Point, just inside mouth of Cudgera Creek, December 2002. The fish is now registered in the Australian Museum Ichthyology Collection (AMS I.41874-009).

Additional information
The species can be recognised by its large adipose eyelid and the bluish spot at the base of the pectoral fin.
