Image: Repairing Croc fins
Sheldon uses a small patch on Japanese tissue to repair and strengthen a broken fin on the tail of this Crocodile specimen. The fin had almost snapped off, so the tissue paper bridges the break edges and supports the weakened area. The tissue paper will be painted to match the colour of the tail.
