I found this lone paper wasp guarding its nest of newly laid eggs on a brick wall outside my house late last year. I was originally hesitant at getting close to a species of wasp which is know to be easily aggravated but as I slowly approached, the wasp showed nothing but curiosity for the big black camera which I held in front of my eye
