Image: Mating tiger beetles - Bruce Gimber
It was a hot, sunny day in Hat Head National Park and there was a lot of insect activity. I noticed numerous tiny tiger beetles chasing each other around. It took over an hour of patient stalking to get close enough for a sharp picture.
