Making Eye Contact - Wolf Spider - Jurgen Otto, Professional Category

I encountered this tropical wolf spider during a warm summer's night in Townsville's Castle Hill. It stood obligingly still while I focussed on its eight shiny eyes and hairy fangs and discovered an almost human-like face. In my mind, a truly delightful and admirable creature that doesn't deserve to be feared.
