I had been checking the flowering and developing fruit of the Cayratia clematidea vine in Cumberland Plain Woodland. Aiming to collect seed on this visit, I found all the fruit had gone but this attractive caterpillar remained. Agarista agricola tend to feed on plants in the Vitaceae family.
