Image: Rough-toothed Dolphin injured by Cookiecutter Shark
A Rough-toothed Dolphin, Steno bredanensis, with a wound on the side of the body that was probably made by a Cookie-cutter Shark. The dolphin was stranded near Port Macquarie in 1976. The photograph was taken at the Port Macquarie Dolphinarium.

Hi again ianam1983. I have heard back from both the mammals collection manager, Dr Sandy Ingleby and the person who kindly supplied the image to me, Sylvia Adam. Both agree with your identification. Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention. I will change the names appropriately right away ... hopefully it will be done before you read this post :).
