Hercules Caterpillar - James Mahony, Primary School 2007

Last year I went to the Daintree rainforest for a holiday. We discovered that the Hercules Moth (Coscinocera hercules) was one of the biggest moths in the world. At a museum of insects we saw a caterpillar of the Hercules Moth outside in the garden. So I took out my camera and got this shot.
