Image: Hatched Lacewing - Kaoru Kurihara
I was walking along a local park and I found some lacewings. They had just hatched on a grasstree leaf. Each egg was hanging from a slender stalk. These tiny predators have strong jaws and they must leave their siblings to avoid being eaten by them.
