Image: Green ants and lacewing eggs - Colin McCloud
In my garden near Cairns I saw for the very first time these 1cm-high silky slender stalks supporting eggs on top. What a photo, I thought, for the Museum! Sadly when I Googled I found out everyone else knows about them and they are ideal for biological pest control and you can buy their eggs for $13 a thousand!! Anyway, my ants found them interesting!
