Golden Orb Spider - Tanja Bright. Open 2007

Sydney Olympic Park is alive with many interesting spiders. This Golden Orb Spider was photographed along one of the mangrove-lined boardwalks adjoining the Parramatta River. It caught my eye due to the unusual reddish colour of its body.
