Rediscovered in Eltham, Victoria in 1986, the Eltham Copper Butterfly was thought to have gone extinct around the 1950s, but is currently known from four locations. I photographed this individual at one of its few known sites. The Eltham Copper Butterfly is listed as a threatened species
