This boomerang is from northern or western New South Wales, Australia. The wooden boomerang has a small, slightly off centre curve and tapers to a point at either end. Both surfaces of the boomerang are convex or curve outwards. The boomerang was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century. It was acquired by the Australian Museum in 1979.
