The diameter of the handle gradually increases towards the top to form the club's head. The head is covered with over 400 nails. The head tapers to a point above the band of nails. Remnants of white pigment can be seen on the surface of the club. The club was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century.
