E076958 club, wood, south-east, Australia.

This heavy, wooden club is from South-Eastern Australia. The club has been carved from a single piece of wood. The handle and head of the club form a continous shaft, tapering to a point at the top. The club was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century. It was acquired by the Australian Museum in 1979.
