Dani did a Masters of Research in marine biology in Plymouth, UK in 2009 and 2010, then moved to Sydney. Her dissertation was on the behavioural and physiological implications of climate change on key species on the rocky shore.
She was employed for just over 3 weeks in September/October 2011, to sort, register and database specimens collected during the Kermadecs Islands expedition.
