Image: Caterpillar Kisses - Joel Devlin

In a secret garden in Melbourne, for only a few days of the year, a multitude of caterpillars emerge from their eggs to feast on vine leaves before they make their cocoons and enter their next phase of life. On a sunny spring afternoon in November, I was lucky enough to catch an intimate moment between two passing caterpillars on a vine.
