Image: Bluebottle - Morgan Talbot
This is a bluebottle Physalia utriculus, beached at Anna Bay. They interest me because they consist of several animals. I like this photo because it shows the large gas-filled 'sail' and the stinging tentacle training off into the distance. I used an Olympus D-545 using super macro.
