Image: Beetle on flower - Joshua Stanley
This image of a beetle balancing on the petal of a flower was taken in my backyard (Western Sydney). These beetles perform an entertaining balancing act as they try to get to the flower’s nectar. I had to hold the flower stem steady, as the beetle’s weight was rocking the flower from side to side.
