My significant object is a Baby Betty doll. It is a clay/plaster doll with a porcelain head. It has a very pale face and it is clothed in hand-made clothes made by my grandmother’s grandmother. My grandmother was given it when she was 4 years old which makes it over 80 years old. It has been sent to a doll repair shop to have the head rejoined to the body. It is special because it has been with my grandmother for such a long time and it has suffered head, eye and ear breakages.
