Image: Ancient Egyptian mummy in coffin

Ancient Egyptian mummy wrapped in linen bandages and covered in plaster. The coffin (sarcophagus) is made from painted wood. The mummy was excavated in 1900 CE (AD) and is dated as being from the Late Period (664 - 332 BCE).
