Image: Ancient Egyptian coffin painted with winged serpent
Part of a painted wooden mummy coffin from the Late Period (664-525 BCE).
On the right a winged serpent can be seen in front of three gods, one with the maat feather on its hawk head, another two bird headed and a third with no head only a maat feather.
