3.8 mm long postflexion larvae of a Matsubara's Velvetfish, Matsubarichthys inusitatus.(I.26205-001). In this speciment the thick skin partially obscures the myomeres, and the illustrated myomeres are approximate. Diagonal lines indicate the gill exhalent opening. Broken lines are branchiostegal rays.
