Designed especially for inquisitive under-5s and their carers, Kidspace is a dedicated 'mini-museum' that stimulates young children's imaginations and encourages them to explore the natural world.
Kids are encouraged to investigate real-life objects and specimens by peering into magnifying glasses to examine insects, looking at animal X-rays on a light table and even touching a human skeleton!
5 cubby house 'pods' to explore
Kidspace features five 'pods' or cubby houses loaded with fun activities for kids (and big kids too). There's a bug pod, marine pod, volcano pod, observation pod and imagination pod. Kids are encouraged to look, see and guess a range of simple concepts, objects and animals. They can move from pod to pod, learning new things as they go - or stop along the way and play with a tree house or make a new friend!
A baby-friendly space
Kidspace also caters for curious crawlers. A special closed-off area keeps babies safe and lets them practise movement and actions to help them understand the world around them. Mums, dads and grandparents are always happy to know we offer:
- pram parking
- a bottle warmer (just ask one of the staff)
- change and feeding space.
