Document: Science Research Strategy 2007-2012
Summary
The Science Research Strategy 2007-2012 provides a framework for research at the Australian Museum by balancing the Museum's existing research and collections strengths with emerging issues and priorities. The Strategy sets out the Museum's science research priorities for the next five years, including strategies and activities to address those priorities, which includes allowing individual researchers to have a degree of freedom in the development of their research directions to make best use of their expertise and knowledge. In developing the Strategy, the Museum's vision, purpose, context, research strengths and capabilities have been taken into account, as have both state and national priorities.
