Tech changes museums?
What's the latest from Mashable on museums and technology?
How Tech is Changing the Museum, is the latest post from Mashable Tech highlighting three museum's approach to technology. As they note: "Museums are exploring digital and mobile technologies to enhance visitor experience. Initiatives go beyond technology within exhibits and installations, but also include more pervasive uses of tech to create interactive experiences for visitors throughout a museum, as well as remote experiences for those who cannot get there."
The case studies outline some cool work going on. There is a longer blog post about the Powerhouse Museum's experiences on their blog, and find out more about the work across our sector follow the hastag #mtogo on Twitter.
We're just about to launch our first app next week, DangerOz, so watch this space for more...
