Indigenous Communities and the Digital Realm
What could the digital space do for Indigenous communities asks Phil Gordon?
The Museum has around 40,000 Indigenous objects from all around Australia. We work closely with communties to document, preserve and understand more about these items. Now that the digital world is here, especially the ever-pervading increase in mobile access, how can we now harness to power of the web to maintain cultural continuity and work even more closely with our diverse Indigenous communities all across Australia?
Go here to learn more about our Indigenous collections.
