What's in the Box - Finley High School

Finley High School was the last school on my journey just under an hour from Deniliquin

Day 8 Thursday 11 June 2010 - I was welcomed by the staff at Finley High School and was able to sneak into their morning tea and get refreshed.

I had done a Video Conference on Evolution of Australian Biota with the school the week before my visit and it was a great opportunity to follow up and see the students face to face. I did a short session on fossils and the Burgess shale, but unfortunately technology was against me and the websites I was using went down. I hopefully showed them enough of the amazing creatures found in the Burgess shale to encourage them to have another look.

Finley High School was the last stop on my journey and I had a great time visiting all the schools.
